Woolworths Cricket Blast
Woolworths Cricket Blast is a fun and fast program for kids of all abilities to learn the skills and play Australia’s favourite sport.
Buzzing with the energy of big bash cricket, Woolworths Cricket Blast teaches kids how to bat, bowl, field and catch all while making new friends.
Cricket pack included in the registrations with a t-shirt in the colours of your favourite big bash team. All equipment supplied, parents join in the fun.
The CricketBlast program will be split over two programs:
Term 4, 2026:
8 weeks of action packed activities and games to develop and progress fundamental cricket skills from Monday 12 October to Monday 7 December at 5pm, Shane Warne Oval, RG Chisholm Reserve
Term 1, 2027:
4 weeks of matches, more information to come
SECA Mixed Junior Cricket
Matches with 20 overs a side batting and bowling each week and weekly training sessions in the following age groups with multiple teams (grade A, B or C) in each age group.
Rookies
for ages 8-10, intro to playing cricket on real cricket pitches with protective gear and a semi-hard ball. Matches played on either Saturday or Sunday mornings.
Under 12
for 10 & 11 year olds with matches played on either Saturday or Sunday mornings.
Under 14
for 12 & 13 year olds with matches played on Friday early evenings
Under 16
for 14 & 15 year olds with matches played on Friday early evenings
Under 18
for 16 & 17 year olds with matches played on Wednesday early evenings

Players must be under the age limit by 31 August 2026, exemptions can be granted.

Preseason commences 17 August 2026, season commences 9 October 2026.
All Girls Cricket Competition
Matches with 20 overs a side batting and bowling each week and weekly training sessions in the following age groups. We currently do not have any All Girls teams and are looking to field teams subject to numbers, a number of girls currently play in the mixed junior competition.
Under 12
for ages 8 to 11, intro to playing cricket on real cricket pitches with protective gear and a semi-hard ball. Matches played on played on either Wednesday early evenings
Under 14
for 12 & 13 year olds with matches played on Wednesday early evenings
Under 16
for 14 & 15 year olds with matches played on Sunday mornings
Under 18
for 16 & 17 year olds with matches played on Tuesday early evenings
