Woolworths Cricket Blast

Woolworths Cricket Blast is a fun and fast program for kids of all abilities to learn the skills and play Australia’s favourite sport.

Buzzing with the energy of big bash cricket, Woolworths Cricket Blast teaches kids how to bat, bowl, field and catch over 8 sessions, all while making new friends.

Come and join the fun at East Sandringham Cricket Club with our Woolworths Cricket Blast sessions.

(ages 5-7: sessions run for 60 minutes)

• Learn new skills including catching, throwing and teamwork
• Make new friends or organise a group to learn together
• Wear the colours of your favourite big bash heroes in a personalised t-shirt
• All equipment supplied, parents join in the fun

Join our Junior Blasters Squad
When: TBC (8 sessions - 6 week break over school holidays)
Starts: Early-November 2025 at Chisholm Reserve, Duncan Street, Sandringham

Master Blasters

(ages 7-8: sessions run for 90 minutes)

• For kids with basic cricket skills
• Every kid gets a chance to bat, bowl and field
• Wear the colours of your favourite big bash heroes with your choice of a coloured player cap and also receive an ESCC playing shirt
• Make new friends or organise a group to play together
• All equipment supplied, parents join the fun

Join our Master Blasters Team

When: Monday nights 5-6.30pm (8 sessions - 6 week break over school holidays)

Junior Training

Training nights vary depending on age groups (please refer to the table below).

We encourage all players, especially those wanting to tryout for the first time to join us for training regularly. The environment is extremely inclusive with focus given to all facets of the game. Read our Junior Club Policies for more information.

Sessions are run by coaches and support staff and are very well attended and many parents enjoy watching training from the club rooms.
